The Dehli Food Pantry is open Monday and Thursday from 1 - 3 PM at United Ministry Church on Church Street in Delhi.  The church is located next to the Village Square and behind Delaware National Bank of Delhi.  The pantry is downstairs and provides free emergency food to individuals and families in need. Donations can be given at the Church from 9 - 3 PM Monday through Friday.

Its been awhile since we last blogged, and of course like everything else things continue to change.  Lets start with the encouraging news:  with the exception of new lights the court room addition is now completed within budget and at no cost to the taxpayers.  Grant funding and NYC Good Neighbor Funding was used to fund the project.  I welcome onyone (other than those with criminal intent) to visit our court room to see how it turned out.  With our outstanding court room personnel and Town employees we can all boast that we now not only have the best workforce, but the best court room facility.  Recent storms that have decimated other towns in our county had little effect on our Town.  As a member of the Delaware County Board of Supervisors I continue to work with County officials in the rebuilding process.  So many of our Delaware County citizens are suffering and we need to  keep them in our prayers. 

Applications for doe permits ends on October 1. 

There is a Hunter Sportsman Education class on Saturday, November 5 from 8:00 AM till finish. It is an online course at the Hobart Community Center on Cornell Ave.  You must pre-register.  Call the Stamford Town Clerk with questions and registration at 607-538-9421 Monday thru Thursday 9 - 4 PM.
